Being Picky

So when you decide that you’re going to do it, take the dive and build/Reno your dream home. You want to make a space that perfectly conveys your personalities and is everything that you can ever dream of! Quite often this high of excitement and anticipation is quickly brought back down to earth when you see how much you have to choose, how many options there are and how you have to think of the ‘big’ picture as well as the small details! Trust me, even though we have been doing this for years sometimes we can even find this daunting.

Quite often we spend a lot of our time talking our clients/potential clients through their anxieties and reassuring them that it will be okay!

At the start of 2021 we completed a specification project for a lovely family in Camp Hill. We put together all of their selections and mood boards and patiently waited until now to receive pictures of the finished result and trust us, it was worth the wait!

As quite often with anything that we work on the budget is one of the most important pieces, as a lot of the construction materials are consistent in pricing as Interior Designers it is our role to work to cut costs and make budgets work whilst still keeping the home to feel customised to each clients personality. We also find it is great to have another person on the project who understands all of the costs associate with a build and can advise the clients on areas that they may be overspending or where some items that may have been missed.

Our Interior Architecture service is one of our most popular services . This is where we help clients make their hard finishes selections. Not only is this really helpful to collate all of the selections into the one file but we have also found it is a great service to decipher the build and construction terminology and guide clients through the often daunting build process. When making selections we make sure that we look at the project as a whole and then ensure that all of the little details line up to meet the desired end goal.
