Rylo Turns 11!
Back in 2011 Rylo was coined as a combination of both names, Lauren and Ryan. As a wedding present from Ryan on the 11th of January in 2011 Rylo was a registered business. Two kids, three offices and three houses later in a blink of an eye Rylo has turned 11. What an amazing 11 years it has been moving from the first shop on Stanley st to now be a sought after build design duo the past 11 years has gone way to quickly!
As both Lauren and Ryan are both quiet in their successes I have decided to hijack this post and share with you all just how amazing and awesome Rylo Co really is. Lauren and Ryan have been together since high school, and they have been working as team ever since. Their hearts and souls are what Rylo Co is, a close knit, fun, hardworking and inspiring place. Each and every project has been thoughtfully planned, designed, built and even sometimes the source of little bickers. With both Lauren and Ryan being so passionate about all of their projects they put their hearts and souls into their businesses and it really shows. Eleven years down the track they have had many successes personally and professionally, with two beautiful kids and a loving support network surrounding them, Rylo is very much a ‘Welcome to the Family’ business.
Rylo Co started as Rylo Building and Design and Rylo Interiors, with a little shop on Stanley st, having just become first time parents and a dilapidated structure that was to be called home, Lauren and Ryan’s tenaciousness has never wavered. In the Eleven years since they started Rylo they have quite the list of accomplishments:
From what we can count there have been 156 projects
Three office spaces
Three personal home renovations
Five HIA awards
Growing from being just Lauren and Ryan to being a team of eight full time employees
Developed a stunning textiles and wallpaper line
Getting a real estate licence
Designing and manufacturing their own furniture line
Creating an online e-commerce business
Becoming one of Brisbane’s most sought after build and design teams
Writing their own book
All while raising a family!
There are so many exciting things still to come and may the next 11 years be just as exciting and joy filled as the last.
