Designing homes for families does not mean we compromise on style - we just have some must haves to make it work!

Tip #1: Patterns

Patterned fabrics, rugs and upholstery hide a multitude of sins! It doesn’t have to be dark, just have movement within the design. There are some gorgeous self printed woven fabrics perfect for feature chairs or dining chairs that just hide grubby finger marks and spills with ease. If you’re braver - go a print! you won’t regret it!

Tip #2: Slip covered everything!

Slip covers mean you can wash them. Problem solved. Enough said!

Tip #3: Nana Chic!

There is beauty in imperfection. Vintage and antique pieces provide that beautiful textural quality that new pieces cant PLUS new dints and scratches generally just add to the charm!

These magic three inclusions in any home will help make it feel much more liveable and filled with soul. But you know what - when push comes to shove - if you love something just do it. Our Kids aren’t going anywhere - so why not just do what you love.
