Digital -> Reality

Sarah and I were away this week working with our rural clients and we got into a conversation about our digital mood boards and how they make the design process much easier, communicating visually what the spaces are going to look like. Working with clients over 500kms away is one thing, but even working with our local Brisbane Clients we use the digital mood boards to show how the room is going to look. Recently we photographed a home we handed over at the end of last year. We worked on this home from the original concept through to planning, town planning, build and interiors. We love these projects because we can keep control of every design element and make sure our tradies are building the way we envisioned! To help this, everyone on our sites have a copy of not only the plans and build spec but also the digital mood boards for the interiors. They are a fantastic way to remind the boys of the end game and what they need to do to get us there.

When we start the design process for a renovation we are always thinking ahead to the finished home. Way back at the beginning of this project this was the spread we created to show the clients for the initial concept. Although things changed a little its so nice to look and this and be able to see how it came together!

From this point we start to work on our digital mood boards. Each room has a board and we have found our clients love to see how these develop through out the design process.

We recently photographed this gorgeous home and now you can see how it progresses from digital to Reality!

We cant wait to show you more of this special home in the coming weeks! We were lucky to showcase many of our gorgeous CO-Collection fabrics and wallpapers in this project and we and the clients love the results!
